Nori Jemil is a travel photographer, writer and videographer. She is the co-author of the Rough Guide to Australia, and her work has appeared in numerous publications, including National Geographic Traveller, Conde Nast Traveller and BBC Travel.
Nori was named Travel Photographer of the Year in 2018 by the British Guild of Travel Writers. She’s won other accolades, including Wanderlust’s Travel Photograph of the Year in 2010. She teaches film and photography in London and on specialist overseas tours, most recently in Chile and Iceland. Her photos have been exhibited in London, Milan and Madrid.
A regular contributor to National Geographic Traveller UK, Nori helped judged their 2019 photography competition, has presented photography sessions at their travel Masterclasses and speaks at ‘Travel Geeks’ panel events. In addition, she’s recently taken on public speaking engagements at the RGS, NUJ and Oxford University.
